During the battle, the player commands multiple units of the army to eliminate the opposing forces from the ground to win.
In the start of the game, the player needs to select his playable character, struggle to establish the kingdom, recruit the army and jump into the game to compete against other players while gathering resources from defeated territories. It has over twenty-five types of buildings, and the game comes with more than dozens of characters. There are two campaigns available such as The Peasants Rebellion and The Shattered Kingdom, with a collection of twenty-four challenging missions. The game takes place in the era of the Middle-Ages and offers the former Kingdom, divided into several small principalities and earldoms. Knights and Merchants is a Medieval-themed, City-building, Real-time Strategy, Single-player and Multiplayer video game with an emphasis on Resource Management elements developed by Topware Interactive.
